Hello student athletes,
After playing in a tournament where so much is happening over such a short period of time, it is important to review our process and try and figure out how we might improve. This process of reflection is important everywhere in your life. Whether you are considering your performance on the lacrosse pitch, or your preparation for a Math, English, or Science test, reviewing the process by which you achieved a result is vital if you wish to improve a skill.
With this in mind, our final blog post this term asks you to review your process as a lacrosse athlete. Complete the two questions below in full sentences and submit them before Christmas break:
1. What did you do this year that made you more prepared for our time at Claremont? What skill or strategy that you learned in the academy stands out for you when you think about Claremont? (If you didn’t go to Claremont, what skill or strategy stands out when you think about the past three months)
2. Considering what you did well, what do you think you could have improved in preparation for the Claremont competition? (If you didn’t go to Claremont, what skill or strategy stands do you think that you could improve when you think about the past three months)
