No matter what you are doing in your life (or what you will end up doing in your life) the act of setting a goal is an important of part of success. Whether you are talking about accomplishing a small task, like doing your homework, or a large task, like wining a provincial championship, the act of setting a goal makes a thought materialize; it makes the unreal, possible; it makes dreams, reality.
As coaches, it is our job to help you realize your dreams. It is our goal to help you realize your potential success. It is our job to help you grow to the form that you imagine yourself to be. But sometimes, it is difficult for athletes and people to imagine their potential. Sometimes, it is hard for them to see the progress that they have made, and sometimes, it is hard for them to imagine the progress that is necessary to achieve their goal.
It is with this idea of “potential progress” in mind that the coaching staff would like you to consider this week’s blog post:
Imagine the school year is over, the date is June 28, 2016, and you have just completed 10months of training with the Delta Lacrosse Academy. Write a short letter to the coaching staff detailing what you have accomplished over the course of the 2015-16 school year.
Due Date: Email a link to your published blog post to email@example.com by Nov 20, 2015 at 9pm.
