Hello Pacers,
At the beginning of the Academy year we talked about what it takes to be an athlete. Athletes COMPETE. Against themselves. Against their teammates. Against their opponents. Competition happens during games and practices, it is where you find out what your strengths are and areas you need to improve. Games and practices are a great place to improve your skills. It isn’t the only place to get better. What you do outside of games and practices plays a huge role in improving as an athlete.
Elite athletes strength train. Elite athletes do conditioning. Elite athletes sleep and eat well. Elite athletes take care of their bodies. Elite athletes visualize. Elite athletes practice on their own!
Being part of the Delta Lacrosse Academy means you are COMMITTED TO BETTER.
Blog 7 – List 1 thing you are doing outside of practices and games to COMMIT TO BETTER, describe it in as much detail as possible. Please include the following in your post: when you do it, how often you do it, and how it makes you better.
Due Date: Please email the coaching staff a link to your published blog post by Nov 13, 2015 @ 9pm.
