Ladies and Gentlemen of the Delta Lacrosse Academy,
Our annual trip to Victoria for Claremont’s Spartan Shootout is arriving soon and this year we want to send two teams to participate in the events. We would like to send a Senior and a Junior team, but we must make sure we have the correct amount of people to do so. A minimum of 30 athletes must be attending the shootout for our academy to field two teams. So, if you or your son/daughter is anticipating taking part in this year’s tournament, please fill out this form October 26 Spartan shootout and submit it to Mr. Campbell at Academy practice.
In other news, the rough shape of the tournament’s itinerary has been loosely determined:

Arrive at Ferry: 6:15 am
Bus meets at other side: 8:35 am
Bus drop off at Topaz field: 9:00 am
Playing games: 10:00am- 10:00pm
Check-in to hotel: TBA
Pizza Ordered for kids: Dinner Time (7:00 pm)

Playing games: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Bus meets us at Topaz field: 5:15pm
Arrive at ferry: 7:00pm
Arrive at Tsawassen: 8:35pm
At this time, the itinerary is not finalized. The tournament schedule will be completed soon and you will then be given a more accurate itinerary.
The cost of these events will run approximately $160/attending player. The cost will cover their hotel (with continental breakfast included), their ferry trip, transportation to and from the ferry, dinner the night of the 27th , and a few snacks for in-between games. Athletes will be responsible for the remainder of their nutrition.
At the moment, our academy has reserved ten rooms at the ACCENT INN, located two blocks from TOPAZ FIELD (where the games will be held). If your student athlete plans on joining the academy in Victoria, please send a cheque made out to Delta Lacrosse Academy with him or her to practice.
